Depositing into Zino Vaults
Depositing into Zino’s vaults is straightforward, whether you’re making a quick zap or manually depositing assets into one of the platform's strategies.
1. Connect Your Wallet To interact with Zino, you need to connect your Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.). When you visit Zino’s platform, you'll be prompted to connect your wallet by clicking the "Connect Wallet" button. Follow the instructions in your wallet to authorize the connection.
2. Select a Vault After connecting your wallet, navigate to the Vaults section on the platform. Zino offers a variety of vaults that align with different investment strategies. Each vault has specific details on what assets it accepts, the protocols it integrates with (e.g., Uniswap V3, GMX, AAVE), and the yield generation strategies employed.
3. Zapping: Quick Deposit The Zapping feature offers a fast, efficient way to deposit assets directly into a vault. Instead of manually swapping tokens or adding assets one by one, Zapping allows you to instantly deposit supported tokens into a vault, simplifying the process.
Choose "Zap": On the Vault page, select the "Zap" option.
Select the Token: Pick the asset (ETH, USDC, USDT, etc.) you wish to deposit.
Approve Transaction: Your wallet will ask for permission to execute the zap. Confirm the transaction, and your funds will be automatically deposited into the vault’s strategy. Zapping bypasses manual token swaps and provides a seamless deposit experience, saving time and simplifying your participation.
4. Manual Deposit If you choose not to use the zapping feature, you can manually deposit assets into a selected vault. Here’s how:
Enter Deposit Amount: Input the amount of the selected asset you wish to deposit into the vault. The platform will automatically calculate the equivalent value in other supported tokens if applicable.
Confirm Approval: Your wallet will prompt you to approve the deposit. Make sure to review the details before confirming the transaction. Once you approve, the deposited funds are allocated into the vault’s predefined strategy.
5. Vault Strategy Execution Upon deposit, Zino will automatically manage the capital by allocating it to various yield farming strategies. These strategies may include:
Liquidity Provision: Your funds may be provided to liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap V3 or SushiSwap, where they can earn fees.
Lending: Some funds may be lent out on lending platforms like AAVE, where they generate interest.
Staking: Funds may also participate in yield-generating staking strategies on platforms like GMX. The allocation is dynamically managed to optimize yield based on market conditions and strategy performance.
6. Monitor Your Deposit After depositing, you can monitor your position in the Vaults tab. Zino will display the current performance of your deposit, the accumulated rewards, and any other relevant details about the vault’s strategies. You’ll also be able to see how your funds are distributed across the various protocols.
7. Auto-Compounding If enabled, the auto-compounding feature will reinvest your earnings automatically. This allows your yield to grow exponentially without requiring manual intervention.
8. Withdrawing Your Funds You can withdraw your assets from any vault at any time, although there may be withdrawal fees or lock periods attached, depending on the vault. To initiate a withdrawal:
Go to the Vaults section and select the vault from which you wish to withdraw.
Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and confirm the transaction.
Your funds will be processed, and you will be able to claim your assets after the lock period, if applicable.
